Amritsar Arrival – Golden Temple – Jallianwala Bagh
On arrival in Amritsar, meet your representative and proceed to your hotel for check-in. After some time to relax and freshen up, begin your sightseeing tour of Amritsar.
Visit the magnificent Golden Temple, one of the most important Sikh pilgrimage sites and a symbol of peace, devotion and equality. Spend some peaceful time exploring the temple complex and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
Later, visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historic memorial that commemorates the victims of the tragic 1919 massacre. Explore the memorial and learn about its significance in India's freedom struggle.
In the evening, enjoy some free time to explore the local markets of Amritsar. Shop for traditional Punjabi juttis, phulkari embroidery, woollens, handicrafts, souvenirs and other local products.

Amritsar – Attari Wagah Border – Amritsar
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning in Amritsar. You can spend some time exploring the local markets or relaxing at the hotel. Later, proceed towards the Attari Wagah Border, located near the India-Pakistan border. Experience the famous Beating Retreat ceremony, a spectacular display of patriotism, discipline and military tradition. Enjoy the energetic atmosphere as visitors gather to witness the ceremony.
After the ceremony, return to Amritsar. In the evening, enjoy some free time for shopping and exploring the vibrant streets and markets of the city. You may also visit local shops for Punjabi suits, phulkari dupattas, traditional footwear, handicrafts and famous Amritsari products.

Amritsar Local Sightseeing – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for the remaining local sightseeing of Amritsar. Visit the Partition Museum to learn about the history and human stories associated with the Partition of India. Later, explore the local markets and enjoy some last-minute shopping.
Depending on your departure schedule, you may also spend some peaceful time around the Golden Temple complex or enjoy local Punjabi cuisine. Later, proceed for your onward journey or departure transfer.
